Security Officer Mobile Patrol

Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.54 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Monday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Tuesday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Wednesday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Thursday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all persons on location by following site-specific procedures, monitoring for unusual activity, and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify security-related concerns at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization when required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Support the protection of sensitive equipment, materials, and/or information by maintaining awareness of surroundings, following post orders, and reporting conditions that could impact daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
