Under the supervision of the Plant Manager, this position is responsible for developing, color matching, testing and preparing glazes, and maintaining the Glaze Preparation Area.

Duties include:
• Assess incoming color samples to determine application techniques that will be successful in production
• Checks finished product for freeze and thaw, chemical resistance, shivering and adhesion
• Organizes safety meetings and inspects department.

Full time position, Mon - Friday

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of school and experience required
• Three to five years of applicable experience in a clay products manufacturing plant.
