About Sustainable Healthcare for Haiti (SHH)

Sustainable Healthcare for Haiti (SHH) is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting 80+ children and young adults living in an orphanage and young-adult transition homes in Port-au-Prince, Haiti . Our mission is focused on three core pillars: Healthcare, Education, and Young Adult Development .

SHH is a 100% volunteer-run organization , and we’re looking for someone passionate about social impact to help us strengthen our digital presence and storytelling.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a candidate to support our website, social media, and content efforts. This role will play a key part in an upcoming pro-bono website redesign with an experienced design team, followed by light, ongoing digital support.

This is a flexible, volunteer (unpaid) role with meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support website maintenance and updates (content changes, light edits, basic troubleshooting)
  • Collaborate with a pro-bono design team during our website redesign
  • Help manage social media content and posting (primarily monthly cadence)
  • Assist with content creation and storytelling (updates, impact stories, campaigns)
  • Provide light digital marketing support as needed

Time Commitment

  • Higher involvement during website redesign (next few months)
  • After launch: approximately 2–5 hours per month , flexible schedule

Ideal Candidate

You might be a great fit if you:

  • Are interested in getting involved in a nonprofit
  • Have experience with websites, social media, marketing, or content

  • Passion or experience in Haiti

Prior nonprofit experience is a plus, but not required.
