Description

American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of home health experience for a 13-week travel contract in Missouri.

Details

• Home health setting covering 13 counties in the greater St. Joseph, Missouri area
• Clinicians rotate weekly to serve more remote areas within the coverage region; patient load may be reduced on high-mileage days
• Schedule is 5x8 Days (8:00–16:30), with the option for 4x10s if preferred
• On-call required one Sunday every five weeks
• Every fifth week, the clinician works Saturday and Sunday to conduct admits and takes two days off during the week in exchange

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent home health PT experience required
• DPT required
• Active Missouri PT state license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include patient evaluations, treatment, and admits across a multi-county home health territory
• Clinicians take turns covering the furthest counties on a weekly rotation
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Scrub dress code: solid black, grey, or khaki pants with a polo or scrub top — no printed patterns
