Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Campus Patrol Security Clearance in De Leon Springs, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time

Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an armed patrol post at a defense-related location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report access concerns, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations in accordance with site protocols for a regulated manufacturing and engineering environment.
• Support investigations and daily operations by preparing clear reports, maintaining awareness of sensitive areas, and following post orders related to controlled materials, restricted spaces, and/or after-hours activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
