This position can be based in either our Beverly, MA or New York, NY office on a hybrid schedule.

Key Results Areas

A. Marketing Materials / 35%

1. Create, and copy edit text for company catalogs
2. Compile and assist with creating marketing materials
3. Proofread all marketing materials
4. Support the marketing and sales staff by creating sales and organizational materials as needed
5. Maintain lists and distribute material quantities and final ship to quantities

B. Edelweiss Interactive Online catalogs / 30%

1. Assist with creating catalogs/flyers with Edelweiss Designer as needed
2. Conduct one-on-one and/or group training sessions – when needed
3. Maintain and troubleshoot
4. Uploading of information that does not feed automatically:

DRCs – uploading of titles - daily

Weekly maintenance from “Change Memo’s”

Related titles – manual process

Sell Sheets, Bonus Materials, Videos – manual process all done upon request

1. Manage users

C. Distribute advanced copies of new titles to the Marketing & Sales department / 5%

1. Maintain spreadsheet of distributed advances – this at least takes 3-4 hours a week

D. Trade shows / 10%

1. Assist with gathering information for proposed shows, research, make estimates and finalize show list and budgets.

2. Assist with managing all aspects of the shows including ensuring attendees understand their roles, have materials etc.

3. Assist with preparation and shipping of all materials needed for individual shows.

4. Assist with preparation of reports after each show for use in planning the following year.

5. Assist with updating sales ordering tools for shows ie Brandwise and Square.

E. Other duties as requested / 20%

1. Metadata book checks
2. Title Assets – keeping these up-to-date
3. Sales Conference assistance
4. Support other sales & marketing manager requests for materials
5. Manage Marketing Calendar – add trade shows to the Sales Group calendar
6. Assist with Monthly Reporting
7. Customer Service emails
8. Assisting with Marketing mailing when needed

1. Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

Required

• Strong writing and proofreading skills.
• Highly organized and excellent at multitasking.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Highly flexible and able to quickly think of creative solutions.
• Comfortable managing others and requesting tasks of others when needed.

1. Education and Experience

Required

• College degree in marketing, advertising, public relations or related field.
• Computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft office (programs frequently used include Word, Excel). A basic grasp of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign is helpful.
• Promote positive attitude.
