Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff coordination
• Supervise and train team members on food handling, customer service, POS systems and safety protocols
• Manage inventory control to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing waste and controlling costs
• Oversee food production processes, ensuring quality standards are met consistently across all menu items
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures and end-of-shift reconciliation
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
• Promote a positive team environment through effective supervision, motivation, and leadership

Experience

• Proven management experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment, preferably with casual dining or quick service experience
• Strong background in management
• Experience supervising staff
• Knowledge of food safety standards and certifications applicable within the hospitality industry
• Previous experience in restaurants but not required
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
