We are seeking a Registered Nurse Postpartum to join our Healthcare & Medical Services department and provide high-quality, evidence-based care to mothers and newborns during the immediate post-delivery period. In this role, you will independently manage and coordinate the care of postpartum patients, including ongoing assessments, pain management, breastfeeding support, patient and family education, and discharge planning. You will monitor vital signs and recovery status, recognize and respond promptly to signs of complications such as postpartum hemorrhage or infection, and collaborate closely with obstetricians, pediatricians, lactation consultants, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. The Registered Nurse Postpartum will administer medications and treatments safely, follow hospital policies and clinical protocols, and document all aspects of care accurately in the electronic health record. You will support safe infant care practices, including safe sleep and newborn safety, assist with initial newborn assessments as appropriate, and reinforce teaching for new parents regarding infant feeding, bathing, and follow-up care. You will also contribute to quality improvement initiatives, participate in ongoing professional development, and support a culture of continuous learning.
