Job Description

Project Manager Location: San Jose, CA (Remote available; must be available 8am - 5pm Pacific Time.) Duration: 12 Months Hours per week: 40 Client: Medical Device Company Job Category: Customer Service Level of Experience: Entry Level Employment Type: Contract on W2 (US Citizens or GC Holders only) Description Can be remote, but must be available to work approximately 8am - 5pm Pacific Time regardless of where they live. Three MUST HAVES on resume: Six Sigma, PMP, continuous improvement experience. Responsibilities Program Management role supporting the BDB Program Management office within the Pacific Time zone. Potential to become permanent at a later time. Part of the Continuous Improvement Team within the BDB Life Sciences PMO; provides support to R&D NPI teams to improve processes and add value. Role may adopt various positions: guide, coach, analyst, trainer, change manager depending on assignment. Challenge and lead by example. Scope continuous improvement projects with internal customers, create work plan, track progress, budget, keep plans updated, publish results, present management reports on project outcomes and status. Establish project quality requirements and adhere to established methods of execution and tracking. Maintain all active project plans in MS Project (or other similar PPM software) and help BD associates learn and adopt these technologies. Passionate about Lean and Continuous Improvement. Pass ability to influence, inspire and enthuse others. Able to self-reflect and constant learning. Connect with others at multiple organizational levels, from team members to executive managers. Requirements Master's Degree in Business or Engineering required with at least 5 years relevant working experience in Continuous Improvement (Lean and/or Six Sigma) within large/complex organizations, or Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering required with at least 10 years relevant working experience.
