Job Highlights This leadership position is responsible for coordinating pharmacy operations for the infusion therapy clinics within The Kirklin Clinic at Acton Road. In this role that reports to the manager of Infusion Pharmacy, you will work in collaboration with physicians, nurses, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians to provide excellent patient care for our infusion therapy patients. Job Description To supervise and evaluate pharmaceutical services in an assigned area. To ensure pharmacy operations conform to all applicable internal and external regulations, are fiscally sound and promote quality patient care. Provides pharmaceutical care as needed. Supervise and coordinate a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians Collaborates with physicians, clinicians, and other department leaders to achieve departmental goals and objectives Engage providers and pharmacy clinicians to anticipate patient care needs and opportunities Promotes safe pharmacy medication management services and provides front-line operational support as needed to support workflows Promotes and develops the clinical activities of pharmacy staff through counseling, training and teaching Perform ongoing evaluation and feedback of direct reports Maintains a broad understanding of all aspects regarding key service area and its interdependency within the department Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and two (2) years of experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Licensed Pharmacist by the Alabama Board of Pharmacy (ALBOP) required.
