Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and proactive House Manager to oversee the daily condition, organization, and operational readiness of our properties. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards, solving problems quickly, and ensuring each home is guest-ready, well-stocked, and operating efficiently.

The House Manager will play a key role in quality control inspections, inventory management, vendor coordination, light housekeeping, and damage reporting across multiple properties.

Key Responsibilities Quality Control / Inspections
  • Conduct routine walk-through inspections of homes to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and functionality.
  • Verify properties meet company standards before guest arrivals.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues, cleanliness concerns, missing items, or safety hazards.
  • Perform post-cleaning quality control checks.
Inventory Management
  • Organize, restock, and put away incoming inventory and supplies.
  • Monitor supply levels for linens, toiletries, kitchen items, cleaning products, and guest essentials.
  • Maintain storage areas in an organized and efficient manner.
  • Notify management when inventory needs replenishment.
Damage & Maintenance Reporting
  • Document damages, wear and tear, missing items, and maintenance needs.
  • Take photos/videos and submit timely reports.
  • Coordinate minor repair follow-up when directed.
  • Ensure urgent issues are escalated immediately.
Vendor & Contractor Coordination
  • Meet vendors, cleaners, repair technicians, inspectors, and delivery personnel at properties as needed.
  • Verify vendor work is completed properly and on schedule.
  • Communicate updates to management regarding completed work or issues.
Light Housekeeping / Property Readiness
  • Perform light cleaning touch-ups as needed (wiping surfaces, straightening rooms, taking out trash, etc.).
  • Assist with staging and presentation of homes.
  • Ensure homes are neat, organized, and guest-ready at all times.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in property management, hospitality, housekeeping supervision, or home operations preferred.
  • HIgh attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel between properties.
  • Comfortable using smartphone apps for photos, checklists, and communication.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift supplies and move inventory as needed.
  • Trustworthy, punctual, and self-motivated.
