Job Description

Position: Forklift Operator Company: GRC Outlet Recyc Transp, Location: Austin, TX, US Full‑time warehouse position operating heavy machinery. Salary Operate heavy machinery in a warehouse setting. Properly load, secure, unload and protect deliveries and donations, raw materials, and manufactured goods. Distinguish between labeled containers to transport to designated areas. Role and Responsibilities Achieve and maintain current forklift certification. Operate forklift and pallet jacks within warehouse and dock area when required. Neatly and accurately complete required paperwork to include manifest, donation count sheets, and truck seals. Accurately and immediately report incidents and accidents to the supervisor. Perform operator‑level maintenance on assigned equipment, including daily pre‑ and post‑trip safety checks such as fuel, oil, lubricants, water, antifreeze, and condition. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibility This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Required Skills and Qualifications Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Must have adequate eyesight, hearing, and hand‑eye coordination. Must be able to follow directions well. Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Physical Requirements Ability to work in a non‑climate‑controlled environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to airborne particles.
