Lee Health, a leading health system in Southwest Florida, is seeking Clinical Nurse Educators – Multiple Specialties to join our Education, Training & E‑Learning team. As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a key role in advancing clinical excellence and patient-centered care by designing, implementing, and evaluating education for nurses and interprofessional team members across our hospitals and clinics. In this role, you will collaborate with nursing leadership, frontline clinicians, and interdisciplinary teams to assess learning needs, develop competency-based orientation programs, and deliver ongoing education that reflects current evidence, regulatory requirements, and Lee Health’s high standards for safety and quality. You will facilitate classroom, simulation, and bedside teaching; support nurses in applying best practices at the point of care; and serve as a clinical resource for complex patient situations in your areas of specialty. Clinical Nurse Educators at Lee Health analyze quality, safety, and performance data to identify practice gaps, then design targeted learning interventions to improve outcomes. You will create and update educational materials, clinical guidelines, and e‑learning modules; coordinate annual competencies; and support rollouts of new technology, equipment, and clinical protocols. You will mentor and coach nurses at all experience levels, fostering critical thinking, professional growth, and a culture of continuous learning. Working within a culture defined by excellence, compassion, teamwork, and innovation, you will model professional practice and patient advocacy while promoting adherence to standards from bodies such as The Joint Commission, CMS, and relevant specialty organizations. You will actively participate in shared governance, practice councils, and interdisciplinary initiatives focused on quality improvement, patient safety, and staff engagement. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical expertise in one or more acute care or ambulatory specialties, experience in staff education or precepting, and the ability to translate evidence-based practice into practical, engaging learning experiences. Comfort with educational technology, simulation, and electronic health records is important, as is the flexibility to adapt education strategies across multiple clinical environments.
