As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents while working in a collaborative and supportive environment. Daily Responsibilities: Provide rehabilitation services to the residents residing at our facility Assist with speech therapy and sensory integration Implement treatment plans for physical therapy and hand therapy Utilize adaptive equipment and aquatic therapy techniques Collaborate with the therapy team to develop individualized education programs Required Skills: Strong understanding of cognition and speech therapy Proficiency in sensory integration and manual therapy techniques Knowledge of adaptive equipment and aquatic therapy Ability to develop treatment plans and implement therapeutic exercises Nice to Have Skills: Previous work in skilled nursing facilities Company Information: The Farms at Puryear is a senior living and care facility in Tennessee, providing skilled nursing services focused on fostering a supportive and joyful environment for residents.
